About

I'm a software developer and AI engineer, currently working as a contractor at AI Cubed, an early-stage company building HIPAA-compliant healthcare software. I build the platform end to end: cloud infrastructure on AWS, Postgres data models locked down with row-level security, React front ends, and LLM features that turn messy clinical notes into structured documentation.

Since April 2026 I've been the lead engineer on a healthcare operations product for a multi-facility nursing-home operator, taking it from an AI-generated prototype to a tested production app. I also built the AI tooling my team ships with: Claude Code rules, slash commands, and an automated review hook that has checked around 400 pull requests.

Before that I built reporting tools at AdvancePro Technologies, and in school I co-wrote a compiler in Zig and a ray tracer in Java. I have one exam left in my B.Sc. in Computer Science at Jerusalem College of Technology. Give me a problem and I'll figure it out.

AI Cubed

Building a HIPAA-compliant healthcare SaaS platform end to end, from cloud infrastructure to AI-powered product features.

  • Lead engineer (sole active engineer since June 2026) on a healthcare operations SaaS for a multi-facility nursing-home operator, built with React, TypeScript, and Supabase. About 1,400 commits and 600+ merged pull requests.
  • Cut critical-path database round-trips by 68% (19 to 6) by moving query-heavy hooks into Postgres functions, and replaced the prototype's permissive access rules with about 160 row-level security policies.
  • The test suite grew from 54 to 262 files (about 3,600 test cases) on my watch, and I added pre-push and CI gates for lint, types, tests, and builds.
  • Built the in-app AI help assistant on Claude: streaming responses, prompt caching, role-specific prompts, escalation to support, rate limits, and cost tracking.
  • Built an LLM pipeline that turns free-text clinician notes into structured, EHR-ready records.
  • Deployed the AWS platform from scratch (containerized services, PostgreSQL, MFA, audit logging) with keyless CI/CD from GitHub Actions, and help run the company's HIPAA compliance program.
  • Designed the team's AI-assisted workflow in Claude Code: ticket to isolated worktree to pull request to multi-pass AI review, with a review hook that has checked about 400 PRs.

Built inventory reporting and dashboard features in C# backed by complex SQL business logic, automated Jira developer-metrics reporting in Python, and refactored customer-facing screens in Flutter. Created a complete knowledge base that takes new users from zero to proficient in hours. Supported team delivery through code reviews, planning, QA, and documentation.

Built an automated mail-merge system in Google Apps Script that cut processing time by 80%, led an end-to-end data migration from Pipedrive to Salesforce, and trained executives, managers, and staff on the new tools and data model.

Networking Assistant

A personal relationship memory, built solo in four weeks for a company hackathon. Record a 30-second voice note after meeting someone. It transcribes the note, extracts a profile where every claim cites the transcript, and answers questions like “who could I ask about a health-tech job?” with specific people, the evidence, and a drafted opener written in your own style.

Measured with golden and held-out eval sets (retrieval recall 1.00 on held-out) and about 1,000 automated tests across unit, integration, and three-browser end-to-end suites.

AI Contract Review Pipeline

Upload a contract PDF and get a color-coded risk report in under a minute. Claude extracts and classifies clauses across 8 legal categories, RAG compares each one against standard terms, and every clause gets an ok, review, or flag rating with a plain-English reason. Local embeddings and a no-training header keep documents private.

Menahel

A white-label logistics platform for yeshivas and seminaries, and a side venture I co-founded. A Next.js staff portal and a React Native app for students and staff live in one Turborepo monorepo that shares types, Zod schemas, and business rules. Tenant isolation and role-based access are enforced in Postgres with row-level security, and each school sets six brand tokens while the rest of the theme is derived.

Jack to VM to Hack compiler pipeline diagram

Jack to Hack Compiler

A Nand2Tetris compiler toolchain in Zig, built with a partner. It takes Jack source through a stack-based VM down to Hack assembly. I wrote most of the pipeline: the Jack tokenizer, symbol table, and code generator, plus the VM translator’s parser and memory-segment code writer.

3D Scene Rendering Engine

A physics-based ray tracer in Java with lighting, shadows, reflections, and refraction. Adaptive super-sampling and multithreading cut render time by 70%. Still one of the most satisfying things I’ve built: write the math, hit run, and watch a lit scene appear from nothing.

    A daily GitHub Actions job that reads Gmail or Outlook, filters the obvious with a rules engine to save API calls, and has Claude summarize the rest into a priority-sorted digest.

  • Library Relational Database

    A PostgreSQL course project with a partner: schema, PL/pgSQL, and a 250K-row generated dataset. Our indexes took one query from over two minutes to 0.2 seconds.

Torah Verses

Pesukim for Your Name

There is a custom to recite a verse from Tanach before the final Yihyu L'ratzon at the end of Shemoneh Esrei. You can recite a verse whose first and last letters match the first and last letters of your name, or one that contains your name entirely. Both are perfectly fine options (heard from HaRav Yitzchak Berkowitz שליט״א). When a verse matches both criteria, I call it a Super Match!

Two-part name? Join with a dash (like בן-ציון). Have more than one name? Separate them with a space.
